Chloe Kim was born to her parents on 23 April 2000. She took birth in Long Beach, California, the United States. Born in Long Beach she was raised in Torrance by her parents.
She started training in snowboarding at a very young age of 4 years at the Southern California resort of Mountain High. After being trained for 2 years she started competing at the age of six years being a member of Team Moutain High.
From the age of eight to ten years, she trained herself in Geneva, Switzerland, after then she returned back to California where she trained at Mammoth Mountain.
